Feng Shui "good fortune" toads

The good-fortune toad is the most commonly used element within traditional Feng Shui, Chinese Feng Shui practitioners believe toads and frogs ("Chan Chu") to be the bringers of wealth and good fortune.

The toad holds a genuine old Chinese coin in its mouth, and is sitting on a pile of coins, symbolising its attracting of wealth. The toad is placed inside your home, near to your front door facing outwards. This symbolises its bringing wealth and good fortune into your home.

For businesses or shops, a toad is placed by the entrance to the door, or near to the till/cash register. For businesses which do not use a cash register, the toad would instead be placed near order books or financial ledgers.

I have sold many good fortune toads, and have always had stories told to me by their buyers about the good fortune and changes of luck which they have had afterwards, for example; job offers, small lottery wins, and general upturns of luck.

Stock colours always available include :-

• Gold
• Rosewood (Maroon) - the traditional colour
• Verdigris

However toads can be decorated in any other colour you desire.
